Investment Philosophy
The fund mirrors the composition and weight of individual stocks featured on the Nifty Midcap 150 Momentum 50 Index, so midcap equities are the primary investments of this scheme
The fund would attempt to mirror the performance of the Nifty Midcap 150 Momentum 50 Index accounting for applicable tracking error.
The 50 midcap stocks that the scheme invests in are selected based on their normalised momentum scores as per the calculation methodology specified by the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
Portfolio Overview
The fund is mandatorily required to invest at least 80% of its investible assets in the 50 midcap stocks that comprise the Nifty Midcap 150 Momentum 50 Index. The remainder if scheme assets accounting for up to 20% of the investment portfolio can consist of various money market securities.
