Launched in 2008, Max India Foundation (MIF) represents the Max Group’s social responsibility efforts. It is focussed on the creation of opportunities by empowering children with an education and sustainable livelihood skills. MIF’s most recent initiative is Social Emotional Ethical (SEE) Learning – a K to 12 education program to provide high quality, easy-to-use curricula and a comprehensive framework for educators and students for their holistic development. In the past, the Foundation’s work focussed on healthcare for the underprivileged and benefitted more than 34 lakh people in over 800 locations since its inception.

Financial Literacy and Insurance Awareness

When it comes to mass awareness of Insurance and its importance, India needs to catch up to its global counterparts. To ensure that our communities are well-informed about the best practices in personal finance, Max Life Insurance is working tirelessly to drive financial literacy and insurance awareness programs for various districts. In 2021-22, our Project in Haridwar and Purbi Singhbhum districts was an initiative to enable over 15,000 beneficiaries of Government & other welfare schemes.

Building Healthy India

Building Healthy India

Our commitment to championing the health and well-being of our surrounding communities remains strong. For two years, we have spearheaded many Covid relief initiatives in these trying times so that everybody can enjoy better lives together. Max Life donated PPE, antigen testing and safety Kits to frontline warriors, police officials, and recovering patients from government hospitals and RWA’s in Delhi-NCR in 2020. Continuing into 2021, Max Life contributed about 60,000 safety kits across 350 locations Pan India.

The pandemic had a disproportionate impact on marginalised communities. We distributed meals and “Happiness Kits” that comprised dry rations to these families in the district of Haridwar. We also lent a helping hand to children fighting congenital heart disease and supported their surgery, giving them a new lease on life.

ENVIRONMENT CONSERVATION

ENVIRONMENT CONSERVATION

We care about sustainability and are working towards conserving natural resources. Our collaboration with the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) for the greening of the metro line for 4.25 km has brought a breath of fresh air to the urban concrete landscape of Gurgaon under the Green Gurugram Project. We have also reached out to approximately 75 RWA’s in Delhi NCR, raising awareness on water conservation through the distribution of 1 lac water nozzles that result in a 75% reduction in water consumption in RWA’s.
