The sum assured is payable in a lump sum as per the policy contract.

Axis Max Life Comprehensive Accident Benefit Rider (UIN: 104B027V05; A Non-Linked Non-Participating Individual Pure Risk Health Insurance Rider) offers additional protection in case of an accident, leading to dismemberment or death. The benefits are payable over and above the base plan benefits.

Axis Max Life Waiver of Premium Plus Rider (UIN: 104B029V05; Non-Linked Non-Participating Individual Pure Risk Premium Health Insurance Rider) offers waiver of all future premiums in case of dismemberment/ critical illness/death based on the following criteria, while your family continues to receive the policy benefits. It is waivered as follows: 

• If the policyholder and insured are the same - waiver of all future premiums is provided in case of dismemberment or diagnosis of specified critical illnesses

• If the policyholder and insured are different - waiver of all future premiums is provided in case of dismemberment, diagnosis of specified critical illness or death of the policyholder

You can add the Accident Death and Dismemberment Rider (UIN: 104B027V02; A Non-Linked Rider)  to your insurance plans as an added safeguard for your loved ones upon your death. Under this rider, in the event of the death of the insured, the insurance company pays the sum assured under this rider to the nominee.
